The International Commission for Alpine Rescue (ICAR) will be coming to Bulgaria for its annual Congress. Hosted by Mountain Rescue Service to the Bulgarian Red Cross Bulgaria (MRS), the event will be held at the Samokov Hotel (http://www.samokov.com/en/aboutus.html) in Borovets which is located one hour’s drive from Bulgaria’s capital Sofia. The congress takes place from 19th-22nd October 2016.

ICAR Gala: €10,000
The ICAR Gala is a culminating event to the Congress and one of the most memorable and enjoyable aspects of the conference. It recognises the leadership, the sponsors and awardees. This elegant function will attract over 400 attendees, and sponsor’s support will be recognised throughout the event.
Welcome Reception: €5,000
This high profile event kicks off the ICAR Congress and sets the stage for our international gathering. The event will host meeting attendees, guests, speaker and exhibitors and the sponsor of this event will be featured in the Congress Programme and acknowledged throughout the event.
Lunch Host: €5,000/lunch
A central and fully attended venue, lunch gatherings provide a stimulating environment for further discussion related to the presentations from the morning sessions. The Sponsor/Host of each Lunch venue is invited to engage in rigorous discussion with congress attendees while highlighting their company/organisations shared commitment to advancing mountain rescue techniques.
Scholarships for Low-Income Countries: €10,000
MRS wishes to encourage attendance of at least 10 fellow mountain rescue members from low- income countries to attend the ICAR 2016 meeting. Sponsorship will include free registration and a €1,000 travel grant. Eligible, applicants will be asked to submit an abstract which will be evaluated and ranked by a special committee.
Programme and Registration Materials: €5,000
Distributed to every attendee, the ICAR meeting programme contains meeting highlights, a schedule of events, and a directory of members and registrants that will be use throughout the year. The sponsor logo on the back cover and corporate ad page will remind members of the important contribution made by the sponsor long after the meeting is over.
